Adopted from South Korea and raised in rural Maryland, I grew up more interested in sports and art than in furthering my education. Fortunately, as graduation loomed, I had a change of heart and applied to a few universities just before their midnight deadlines. I was grateful to be accepted, and I never looked back.

For the past eight years, I’ve worked as a management consultant in New York City, advising major banks, asset managers, and corporations in transportation, healthcare, and retail.

Recently, I’ve been living in San Diego, where I’m focused on supporting early-stage ventures and social causes.
