Adopted from South Korea and raised in rural Maryland, I grew up more interested in sports and art than in furthering my education. Fortunately, as graduation loomed, I had a change of heart and applied to a few universities just before their midnight deadlines. I was grateful to be accepted, and I never looked back.

For the past eight years, I’ve worked as a management consultant in New York City, advising major corporations in financial services, transportation, healthcare, and higher education.

Recently, I’ve been living in San Diego, where I’m focused on supporting early-stage ventures and social causes.
